The Board of Directors of Jamuna Bank Limited in its 223^rd meeting held on 28.04.2013 has unanimously elected Kanutosh Majumder as the Chairman of the Board.  He was born in a respecteble Hindu family of Noakhali in 1940.  He obtained his Masters in Commerce from University of Dhaka. He is a renowned and pioneer businessman in construction sector. Mr. Kanutosh set up New Generation Construction Company Limited and it is one of the oldest and famed construction firms of the country, which is making remarkble contribution in building country’s infrastructural development. He is a Sponsor Director of Federal Insurance Company Limited. Mr. Kanutosh is a member of Dhaka Club Limited and associated with many socio-cultural organisations.
